Olivo is incredibly proud to support the local charity and our neighbours in Quarry Street the halow project. Who support young people with a learning disability on their journey into and through adult life. The young people the charity work with want the opportunity to build relationships, become part of the community, find meaningful employment and have a home of their own. It is the charity’s mission to fulfil these aims through the activities, initiatives and services they provide.
halow was formed in 2006 by five families, each of whom has a child with a learning disability. The inspiration for the name comes from the young people who inspired it: Harriet, Amber, Laura, Oliver and William. The charity now supports 170 young people who have a range of different needs, including Down’s syndrome, Autism, Asperger’s syndrome and severe communication difficulties.

We support the charity with our Spaghetti Bolognese. For every dish served, Olivo donates 50p to halow, helping to improve the life chances and choices for young people with a learning disability in Guildford and across Surrey. You can support halow too by reserving a table and ordering our delicious Spaghetti Bolognese. Over our partnership, we are delighted to say we have raised close to £1000 for the charity.
